The rooms at Samaru Beach House are absolutely stunning! They are modern, clean, and spacious, providing the perfect atmosphere for a comfortable stay. As a budget-conscious traveler, I couldn't have asked for more!
Personally, I found that the tile/marble floor in one of the twin/double rooms was a bit cold and slippery. However, I understand that some guests may appreciate the sleekness of it.

Title: A delightful beach getaway for seniors
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have more seating reserved exclusively for the guests of the hotel. While it personally did not pose a problem for us, I noticed that the chairs and cabanas on the beach were also accessible to individuals from other hotels.

Right at the picture-perfect beach with a nice elevated terrace looking out at the ocean, where you can have breakfast or dinner, Samaru Beach House definitely is a great place to chill out. the big comfortable rooms and attentive staff make your stay even more enjoyable. With a cool surf instructor and surfboards available for rent, this place is perfect for those looking to catch some waves. Plus, the breakfast is ample and tasty, giving you a great start to your day.
Although the rooms are clean and comfortable, it would be convenient to have toiletries and a hairdryer provided.

When we stayed at Samaru Beach House, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They even offered us a free upgrade to a better room when it became available. the staff were friendly and warm, never intrusive. We were particularly impressed with how they went above and beyond when my partner got injured in the surf. They immediately arranged transportation to a doctor and followed up to ensure his well-being. We had a fantastic four nights at Samaru and would definitely recommend it as an affordable and fun holiday destination. the location is perfect, right on the beach, and they even offer reasonably priced surfboard hire. the staff were always attentive and willing to chat, providing great advice on things to do and places to eat. They even suggested unique activities like snorkeling with turtles. the beach is just a few steps away, making it ideal for learning to surf. the room we were upgraded to was comfortable, clean, and had stunning views of the beach. Cons: Nothing 😊 It is perfect.

As low-budget travelers, we were thrilled with the in-house board rental and surfing lessons right in front of the hotel. The staff was super friendly and the property was kept clean. The location was perfect, with beginner to intermediate waves and more challenging surf within easy driving range. We also enjoyed the nearby side tours, including snorkeling with green sea turtles and a jungle safari. The hotel is also conveniently located near clubs and restaurants.
Felt safe and secure, with nothing to complain about.

I recently stayed at a charming little hotel directly on the beach in Sri Lanka. The location was absolutely perfect for me as I love watching surfers in action. The hotel was basic but had everything I needed - a comfortable bed with a mosquito net and a fan to keep me cool. The ocean view from my room on the second floor was simply breathtaking. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning, which was a great way to start my day.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was fantastic.

Great Promotion & Ocean View
During New Year we decided to stay at a hotel close to the beach. We found an amazing promotion online for a hotel with ocean views. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from the beach. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset and listening to the sound of the waves. Another advantage was the friendly staff who were always willing to help.
We were disappointed with the unprofessionalism of the hotel staff. We had issues with the cleanliness of our room, with dirty floors and smelly bed sheets. Additionally, the reception didn't properly handle our complaints, making us feel uncomfortable during our stay. We would not recommend this hotel to others and suggest looking for a different place to stay.

The hotel is in a great location, right at the beach, in front of the bay, perfect for beginner to intermediate surfers. the rooms are comfortable, and most importantly, clean; the bathrooms are well-maintained. the service is friendly and accommodating. Guests can take surfing lessons onsite and rent boards. the breakfast is good, and there are plenty of dining options in the surrounding area.
One aspect of the hotel falls short, and that is the laundry service. A reviewer had a bad experience with the hotel laundry, which left their clothes dirty and smelly, and they waste some pieces, mostly white shirts.
